No thats not some strange, white discharge coming from my shirt; it’s my headphones. But anyway, thats me right there. James.

I’m 21, from Newcastle and this is going to be a little bit about me…mainly favourites and hobbies because I’m terrible at writing about myself (despite being awesome, I swear) so don’t expect too much.

So…shit this is difficult already…um…

Ok favourites…movies! Yeah movies will do. I have a pretty wide taste when it comes to movies and will watch pretty much anything. My favourites would have be Empire Strikes Back, Battle Royale, Oldboy, Fanboys, The Hurt Locker, Ichi the Killer, Shawshank Redemption, The Last Castle and Mallrats. I watch at least 3 movies a day and just find it really weird people that don’t love the cinema…I mean it’s brilliant IF a little expensive but, hey, I pirate a shitton of movies and it just is not the same.

I guess the logical next step is music…again pretty diverse, even though everyone says that, with favourites such as Sum 41, Reel Big Fish, Skindred, Frank Sinatra, The Melvins, Rancid, Black Flag, Alexisonfire, Newton Faulkner, Dean Martin…the list goes on and on. I can never survive  a journey longer than an hour without my headphones and a comic…speaking of which!

Comics! I love and collect comics whenever I have some spare cash, even when I don’t I spend a lot of time in comic book shops just looking for stuff I need to buy, talking to the owners and other stuff. They’re just the best places to be and always fun. I’m a Marvel guy, through and through, with some of my favourite characters being Deadpool, Wolverine, Iron Man, Thor,  Venom, Carnage, Taskmaster and Hawkeye. Theres the occasional DC character there with the likes of Joker, Green Lantern, Poison Ivy, Deathstroke and Sinestro…

Books wise I try and read whenever I can, with my favourite authors being Hugh Laurie, Lian Hearn and Patrick Rothfuss. I really need to read more but, honestly, I just can’t find the time.

I’m also a big gamer and if I’m not doing sports and shit - later, children! - I’m probably playing games…ummmm favourites being Metal Gear Solid, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Fahrenheit, Final Fantasy 7, Skyrim, Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source. I still have all of my retro consoles, as well as hundreds and hundreds of ROMs on my PC, and play them all regularly.

I have “real” hobbies, too. I play and coach basketball, I play drums when I can, I like to run, go get pissed with my friends - skittles please, bruv - and you know…usual shit.
